Announcing the 2024 Student Exhibition for Graphic DesignThe annual Santa Fe College Graphic Design Student Exhibition event, presented by SCAD Media, will be held Thursday, May 2, at 6 p.m. on the third floor of Building N on SF’s Northwest Campus. SF’s Fine Arts and Entertainment Technology department will host both the exhibition opening and the awards ceremony.
This will be an evening of creativity where the work of our graphic design graduates is presented on multiple media displays, there are themed photo areas, and let’s not forget the interactive chalk walls! The 2024 Student Exhibition is not only a send-off for our 2024 grads, it is also a full on celebration of the graphic design creative community here in Gainesville and surrounding areas.
Submitted work for this juried exhibition is designed by graphic design students in the areas of communication design, advertising design and digital media. We are please to announce our judges for this year are alum Madeline Maguire, Creative Director for General Motors and Jeffrey Stevens, Assistant Director at UF Health Web Services - Content and Social Strategy. The graduate’s portfolios of work will also be reviewed by professionals from University of North Florida, James Moore & Co., General Electric Credit Union, PHOS Creative, University of Texas at Arlington, SCAD Media, and Southwest Gas Corporation.
As one of the top graphic design programs in the region, SF’s Graphic Design Technology program is known for its innovative approach to teaching and learning. The program provides students with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in the field of graphic design.
