About this Event

The Admission Deans/Directors from the twelve state universities provide information to middle and high school counselors regarding admission criteria and updates from the university in general. Counselors will have the opportunity to visit with staff from each school and obtain school literature. A representative from the Department of Education and Bright Futures will present. A continental breakfast will be provided for participants. This is not an event for students/families.

Counselors must register through Eventbrite in order to ensure admission to the event. Parking information will be provided upon registration.

Directions: From I-95 Northbound or Southbound: Exit at Glades Road and go east. The Glades Road on and off ramps have been redesigned, please follow road signs carefully. FAU's Boca Raton Campus is approximately 1/2 mile on the left. Enter campus at the main entrance (West University Drive Entrance) and stay on West University Drive. Turn onto Volusia Drive and convenient parking is located on your left in Garage 1. The Student Union (Building UN-31) is located on your right. The Carole and Barry Kaye Auditorium is inside.

Directions from the Florida Turnpike: Exit at Glades Road and go east approximately 4 miles. The entrance to FAU will be on the left, approximately 1/2 mile east of I-95. Enter the campus at the main entrance (West University Drive entrance) and stay on West University Drive. Turn onto Volusia Drive and convenient parking is located on your left in Garage 1. The Student Union (Building UN-31) is located on your right. The Carole and Barry Kaye Auditorium is inside.

Finding parking for late arrivals will be difficult. Please plan ahead for Broward/Palm Beach commuting traffic.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? Participant names must be listed on our sheet. Participants must register on Eventbrite in order to be on that list. Some school districts collect the names of those planning on attending. This is not registration for the event. Registration through Eventbrite is based on room capacity and fire marshal standards. Those not on our list may find that they are unable to be admitted.
