About this Event
On Saturday, August 12, 2023, The S.T.A.R. Chapter Foundation, Inc will host its 33rd Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament. This year’s event will take place at the Grizzly Course located at The Golf Center at King’s Island. This will be a four-person best ball scramble tournament with tee off at 7:30AM.
There will be prizes for 1st place in four categories: closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt and a $10,000 cash prize for a hole in one!
The S.T.A.R. CHAPTER FOUNDATION, INC. (www.thestarchapterfoundation.org) is an approved IRS 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization that was created to provide scholarships for tertiary education and to create and sponsor activities which help to uplift underserved communities in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Our Mission: To uplift youth by establishing a foundation of growth in communities through creating and funding educational opportunities, and fostering mentoring programs.
Our Goal: To create a $1,000,000 endowment for scholarships.
The S.T.A.R. Chapter Foundation, Inc. has two major annual fundraisers (Mardi Gras Celebration and STAR Foundation Golf Tournament) in an effort to generate funds to award scholarships to uplift the youth in our community. We have awarded over $160,000 in scholarships to 30+ students and their families over the past 6 years.
