Downtown Wake Forest’s buildings and sidewalks have seen well over 100 years of history, and they have some eerie stories to tell! We invite you to join Wake Forest Downtown, Inc. and our wonderful storytellers from Firebox Theatre Company for the 5th year of Spirits of Wake Forest. You will learn all about the restless spirits that make up just a small piece of downtown’s haunted history.
Spirits of Wake Forest is planned and hosted by a volunteer committee, and all proceeds from ticket sales will serve as donations to further the missions of Wake Forest Downtown, Inc., and Firebox Theatre Company.
LOCATION
Tours will take place in Historic Downtown Wake Forest’s business district, primarily along South White Street. We will meet outside Wake Forest Town Hall (301 South Brooks Street) and tours will begin promptly at their scheduled time. Please note that tours are within the business district only and will not include the private residences located along North and South Main Streets.
DATES AND TIMES
Thursday though Saturday nights from September 26th to October 31st.
Tours will be offered at 6:30PM & 8:00 PM. On Saturdays, additional tours will be offered at 7:00PM and 8:30PM. Each tour will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
PRICING
Tickets are priced at $20 per person.
TICKETS
All tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable/ non-transferable.
Tours are recommended for ages 8 and up. Younger children are welcome at their parents' discretion.
Any attendees under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
This year's tour will feature some of last year's favorite stories, along with many new spine-chilling stories.
Tours will take place rain or shine. If severe weather poses a risk to public safety during your tour it will be cancelled, and all ticketholders will receive a refund.
The maximum number of participants for each tour is 20.
