SONA is proud to present the 2024 Songwriter Summit in partnership with Variety “A State of the Songwriter Union: AI Edition” on September 28 from 1-5:30 pm at The Village Studios, Los Angeles, CA.
This year’s summit focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI); the importance of protecting human creation and the threats if we don't, along with ways to fairly use AI as a creative tool.
AI is changing the way music is created and consumed, and it is here to stay. This Songwriter Summit is a full-day event consisting of purposeful dialogue, conversations, and informative presentations focusing on how songwriters are using AI and the guardrails we need to protect our work.
We are thrilled to welcome Variety as our host partner and expert panelists and speakers including US Copyright Office General Counsel and Associate Register of Copyrights Suzanne Wilson, Congressional candidate Laura Friedman, Senior Artisans Editor at Variety Jazz Tangcay, GRAMMY-nominated Composer Roahn Hylton, GRAMMY-winning producer/songwriter OAK Felder, songwriter and producer Tushar Apte, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal & Business Affairs Officer Clara Kim, and Milk & Honey founder and President Lucas Keller along with many others to be announced!
