As AI continues to advance at an unprecedented pace, the implications of its use become increasingly significant. Exploring the ethical dimensions within AI involves not only understanding the technical intricacies but also addressing the broader societal impacts.
Dr. Rohan Loveland is well versed in Artificial Intelligence, specializing in semi-supervised and active machine learning for rare category detection, and anomalous/relevant event detection systems. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oxford and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
His expertise bridges academic excellence and entrepreneurial leadership. Dr. Loveland spent a significant part of his career as a research scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory and has made impactful contributions as the co-founder and CEO of a biomedical device startup. He has shared his knowledge at institutions like New Mexico State University and Whitman College, guiding research teams in Silicon Valley and Tampa, FL.
