About this Event
The second edition of the Scottish Zero Waste Latte Art tournament by Oatly is finally approaching! I know you've been waiting for it all year. Sign up for your local heat in either Dundee, Glasgow, Aberdeen or Edinburgh. Do so to have the chance to participate in the final, and maybe be the one lucky person to win a trip to Geneva for World of Coffee 2025!!
What exactly is a zero waste latte art throwdown you ask? Well, it's basically a place where a bunch of oat-loving humans come together to show off their mind-blowing latte art skills and where we use every single coffee poured to serve up some banging cocktails. Yes, that oat-heaven-on-earth-place really does exist!
So grab a friend and come to Origin on Thursday 28th November, at 6.30 pm!
Are you a latte artist?!
We know that being a latte artist doesn't necessarily define you as a human being and isn't all you do in life, because maybe you like crocheting clothes for Warhammer figurines or something else like that or not even like that at all. We also know that it might actually define you as a human being, and we think there is NOTHING wrong with that! Own it. You'll be competing against 15 other people, not only for infinite glory but also for a bunch of amazing prizes. We will add a little spin to the whole shebang, by potentially drawing some lucky peeps to reenter the competition and get a second chance. Everyone deserves a second chance, but well, not everyone is going to get one.
If you're the winner of the heat, you'll get to take part in the ultimate final against the other heats' champions for the ultimate title of Best Scottish Latte Artist of the Year 2024!!! The final will include a mystery coffee (same for everyone, picked by the Origin team), a dial-in and a sensory component too, for some added flare and difficulty! Oh and don't forget about waste, we'll judge that too!
