We are thrilled to announce our fourth annual Salute To Veterans Dinner, taking place on Monday, November 11, at 6:00 PM at the Grapevine Convention Center (1209 S Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051). Admission is free. Organized by First Grapevine Methodist Church, this free dinner and program honors and celebrates the sacrifices of our brave veterans from all military branches, ensuring their commitment to our freedom is acknowledged and appreciated within our community and beyond. This year, we are honored to welcome Colonel (Retired) Charles "Chuck" Freeman as our keynote speaker.
Colonel Freeman’s extensive operational experience includes deployments in Haiti, Afghanistan, and Iraq, conducting six combat air assaults with the 101st Airborne Division. He has served as a senior advisor during the Yazidi genocide in Kurdistan and played a pivotal role in advising on U.S. Army armor requirements post-Russia's 2014 invasion of Ukraine. His leadership during Hurricane Florence and the COVID-19 response further highlights his exceptional service.
Join us for a memorable evening featuring a catered dinner, patriotic music, a Presentation of Colors by the Grapevine Police and Fire Department Honor Guard, and a special appearance by a state representative or congressperson.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at Firstgrapevine.org/veteransdinner, offering a unique chance to support and honor our veterans while gaining visibility within the community.
Please reserve your (free) spot and don't miss this inspiring event!
