**This event is Sold Out!PRU- Puerto Rican Festival of New Haven is proud to announce our 2024 Awards Dinner Gala! The evening will include appetizers, dinner & desserts, inside & outside (by the water!), beer & wine, DJ, live salsa band, a speaking program, and a silent auction.
Tickets - $100 per person/ Table of 10 - $1,000
We are also excited to announce that this year's gala *and* festival theme is: "Honoring Our Veterans".
This means that all of our remarkable honorees are former & current members of our military, and all have played a critical part in supporting our community and mission! They are:
Community Service Award- Fire Inspector Fernando Ramirez
Arts & Culture Award- Viva Dance & Fitness Center for the Arts
Community Nonprofit Award- Hispanic-American Veterans of CT, Inc.(HAVOCT)
PRU President's Award - Frank Alvarado
Guest Speaker — Mr. Gabriel Botero, Special Assistant, Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Operations, U.S. Dept. Of Veterans Affairs
Performing live —Connecticut’s own Orquesta Afinke! ???
