Join us for an exciting in-person event, the 2024 Princeton Green House Tour. Please note, tickets are required to go inside the homes. Exact location to be provided via email to ticket-holders a day before the event. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR ONLY ONE HOUSE IN ANY GIVEN TIME SLOT.
This ticket is to tour the home, nicknamed The Radiacally Radiant House. Meggers is an Energy Engineer at Princeton University who is renovating his family home with a focus on energy efficiency and the environment. This house is named The Radically Radiant House for its newly installed radiant flooring which uses heated water that runs through flexible tubing set in a grooved subfloor under a wood finished floor that is made from ash trees that have died due to the Emerald Ash Borer. That is just one green strategy among many he is using to create a net-zero home. Some of the features of this house are:
