Our goal is to raise $100,000 to support Special Olympics athletes, these funds go to supporting local Special Olympics clubs to provide transport, uniform, and equipment.

What is Law Enforcement Torch Run?
👮♀️ A worldwide foundation of Law Enforcement employees; and is the largest not-for-profit awareness and fundraising charity for Special Olympics.
👮♂️ LETR NSW is estimated to have raised over $2 million in the last 20 years for Special Olympics in NSW.
👮♀️ LETR, since it’s founding in Wichita, Kansas in 1981, and has raised almost $1 billion (USD) Special Olympics internationally.
👮♂️ LETR in Australia is supported by officers from NSW Police, NSW Corrective Services, Victoria Police, QLD Police, SA Police, and WA Police; and many other unsworn staff from these services.

Getting there?
Gunnamatta Park is located less than 700 metres from the Cronulla Railway Station. This would be the best way to get to the event.Those driving need to be aware that parking in and around Nicholson Parade, Cronulla can be limited - even on a Sunday morning in the middle of winter. What time?
The day will start with a Torch Run from Cronulla Police Station to Gunnamatta Bay commencing at 9.00am with the plunges starting around 10.00am. We will be scheduling the plunges at 5 minute intervals and will let your Team Captain know your scheduled plunge time.
You are welcome to join us for the Torch Run but it's not mandatory.
Food, Drinks and Friends
Feel free to bring your own food and drink - but we will be putting on a BBQ and bringing in a Coffee Truck to warm you up after your plunge.
Bring your friends and family for a photo area: the more the merrier. Please remember though that only registered participants will be able to plunge.
