About this Event
The OATA Athletic Training Student Symposium & Quiz Bowl is an annual event held each year in November. Current athletic training students, who serve as members of the OATA Student Senate committee, organize this one day professional conference for their peers. The event consists of two KaHoot style quiz bowl rounds that allows students to from different universities to showcase their AT knowledge, accuracy, and speed. Student can also take part in 2 educational breakout sessions between each round of quiz bowl. The first breakout will include an option of 2 panels. The second breakout will be sessions of individual speakers, including student presenters!
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided, please indicate your order options (any dietary restrictions along with your name in your order). Attendee Registration through November 9th - $15 (plus fees). Each quiz bowl team is made up of three individuals. In order to be on a team, individuals must be currently enrolled in the professional phase of a CAATE-Accredited Athletic Training program. You can have more than one team from your school, but only one team per school can progress to the final round.
