Dear Educators and Parents, We would like to invite your students to sign up for the 19th Annual North Texas Middle School Percussion Camp which will be held June 11 - 13 at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, TX. This camp is offered to students entering the 7th / 8th grades. The camp faculty consists of some of the finest percussion instructors in the state of Texas. Students are engaged in a well-organized curriculum that includes everything from snare drum, keyboards, timpani, Latin percussion, drum set, marching percussion, and percussion ensemble. Students from all over the DFW area attend this event yearly.

Over 75 videos of educational videos covering a complete instructional course for the beginning percussionist. Instruction is clear, basic, repetitive, and follows a very proven, successful sequential progression. Each lesson will have specified goals along with assignments. Snare drum, keyboards, timpani, Latin percussion, accessories, and even drum set will be covered. Both young students and music educators alike would benefit from the vast amount of information included. This course can also serve well as a supplemental practice and teaching tool.
