The 2024 NEHCA Spring Show & Gathering is HERE!! The Northeast is proud to welcome AHCA Super-Point Show Status for 2024 after a record 2023 Spring Show.The NEHCA Spring Show & Gathering welcomes ALL ages! Are you an experienced breeder? Are you new to cattle, or simply want to learn more about the Highland Breed? Come join NEHCA and Highland cattle breeders from all over the region at the largest Highland Cattle gathering in the northeast for a weekend full of fun, learning, and comradery.
Whether you are exhibiting cattle or spectating, there is plenty to come see, do, learn, & connect amongst Highland farms of all ages from across the country! If you have Highland cattle, but have never shown before- we will mentor you, please contact us!
Looking to purchase AHCA Highland Cattle? Come chat with multiple breeders, learn more about the Highland breed & view different genetics. Many farms have cattle for sale. This event offers fun for the whole family!
2024 NEHCA Spring Show & Gathering Schedule (subject to change):
-Thursday, 12pm: Cattle may begin arriving.
-Friday, 12pm: Cattle must be in place.
-Friday, afternoon: Youth & Adult Showmanship!
-Friday, 4pm: NEHCA Fellowship Appetizers & Yard Games
-Friday, 6pm: Big East Pizza Night & Farm Olympics
-Saturday, 10am: NEHCA Spring Open Show
-Saturday, 5:30pm: NEHCA Banquet, Social, Dinner, & Awards! @Storrowton Tavern
-Sunday, 8-12pm: Cattle depart
Please note, event entry forms are available using online forms (new this year) or paper forms!
The animal entry deadline is April 15th (late entries will be accepted until April 22nd with a $10 fee/entry)
The NEHCA Spring Show runs in conjunction with the Big East Youth & Jackpot Show- one of the largest youth shows on the East Coast! Do you know youth looking to get involved in agriculture? This is a great opportunity to immerse them in the agricultural industry, create agricultural friendships, & have plenty of fun!!
Spectating at the NEHCA Show & Big East Youth Show is free of charge!
