National Public Lands Day is the largest, single-day volunteer event celebrating our public lands! Join Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust in the celebration for a clean-up along the Concord River Greenway and at the river’s confluence with the Merrimack River. Learn about the Concord River’s natural, cultural, and historical importance as we spend the morning maintaining the trail. Please come prepared with sturdy shoes, water, snacks, and be ready to have fun! Tasks will include removing invasives, trimming pollinator-friendly plants, spreading mulch, etc. Tools and gloves provided.
We’ll start at the Greenway on Davidson Street and spread out between the Greenway, the river bank, and the confluence.
In partnership with the Lowell Litter Krewe, Lowell National Historical Park, and Lowell Canalwaters Cleaners.
