It's Meeniyan Marty Gras time again!Join us on Saturday 26th October as South Gippsland's tiny little town of Meeniyan glitters up for its most fabulous night of nights, the much loved and anticipated fundraising event - Meeniyan Marty Gras.
A colourful celebration of diversity, community and togetherness, guests are encouraged to dress in their most outrageous and creative outfits, embracing the theme behind Marty Gras’ namesake event.
And it's not a Marty Gras without queens! This year’s headliners include Rising Drag Star of the year at the MEDEAs for 2024, Kat Zowthabag, as well as the high heeled, high energy Xena Ghost PLUS local crowd favourite DJ Golden Fleece.
A little birdy tells us that there may a few entertaining surprises on the night as well....
Food is provided by Meeniyan Red Cross, BYO drinks, glasses and eskys.
The event is held to raise much needed funds for two initiatives dear to founder Marty Thomas' heart - Opportunities of Development thru Art (ODA) in Cambodia, and Gippsland Pride Initiative Inc.
