NABJ - St. Louis will recognize the contributions and careers of local journalists Julius Hunter, Kelly Jackson and Alvin Reid this fall.About this Event
The NABJ-STL Living Legend Award program recognizes veteran journalists and other media professionals for their body of work, particularly their roles in telling the African American story in the St. Louis region.
On Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, we will celebrate:
- Julius Hunter: Veteran anchor and television pioneer as well as an author and historian
on St. Louis’ Central West End neighborhood;
- Alvin Reid: STL American city editor and “Donnybrook” regular pundit; and
- Kelly Jackson: Longtime KSDK anchor and mentor to on-air personalities.
