Want to learn more about the history and economic importance of agriculture in Lake County? Do you enjoy spending time outdoors? You are invited to join UF/IFAS Extension on their 15th annual Farm Tour featuring agriculture in Lake County. The day starts with an orientation in the UF/IFAS Extension Office auditorium. Participants will then board a comfortable charter bus manned by knowledgeable Extension agents who will discuss each stop and answer questions while on the road. This year’s stops include visiting a winery/vineyard, an ornamental tree production facility, and a native plant and flowers nursery. A locally sourced lunch, snacks, and a goody bag are included. This popular event sells out fast. Get your tickets before they are gone!
Please be advised we will be visiting working farms, which entails walking on uneven surfaces. Closed-toed shoes are required.
