More about this event: The Korea Para Sports Association of U.S.A. (KPSAUSA) was founded on September 19, 2018, in Washington DC for children and adults with disabilities to have the opportunity to share and experience through their athletic abilities by competing in sports while uniting the community. We also support athletes to take part in the National Paralympic Games/Special Olympics in Korea and the biennial Adaptive Sports Festival in the U.S. In June 2022 we successfully finished the 1st Adaptive Sports Festival where athletes from 20 different states came together to share culture and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the heart of America – Kansas City. We are now in the process of preparing for our 2nd Adaptive Sports Festival (June 14-15, 2024) in Maryland. For our 2nd Adaptive Sports Festival in Maryland, we are currently expecting around 1,000 athletes and spectators, members from Korea Paralympic Committee, Para Sports Gyeonggi, and Seoul Sports Association for the Differently-abled (SSAD). KPSAUSA promotes diversity and inclusion through integrated events where both abled and disabled athletes will participate together, and furthermore through competitions foster elite athletics who can compete in international games. Thank you in advance for your generous support in helping make this event possible and for making a positive impact on the lives of many individuals. Your funds will support many athletics across the US to participate in this historic event.
