J oin us for the 6th annual Kananesgi Fashion Show, celebrating Cherokee fashion, art, and culture. This year we are featuring 20 EBCI designers plus 2 guest designers, Kenny Glass and Lesley Hampton.
The Art Market and Art Show are free to the public. The Fashion Show is a ticketed event.
General Admission: $25 tickets
V IP Tickets: $100. VIP tickets include: lanyard with a commemorative lapel pin, custom sticker, access to Fashion Show reception, & complimentary drink ticket

Kananesgi is the Cherokee word for spider. The spider was chosen because, in Cherokee culture, the spider represents creativity and being good with your hands. Some Cherokee will even run their baby's hands through spider webs to embed that creativity into their children.
What's special about the Kananesgi Art Market and Fashion Show is that it was built for artists and designers to give them an opportunity to be creative, receive professional and business development training, increase workforce development, and empower our people by encouraging them to learn about and physically express their Cherokee identity. These events serve as learning and gathering opportunities.
