About this Event
The much-loved tradition of having a Christmas family portrait with Santa, is being offered again, this year in Kalbar.
Our very own Kalbar School of Arts Halls, will be transformed into a magical Christmas setting.
A limited number of photo sessions will be offered for ONE ( 1 ) day ONLY!:
• Saturday 7th December 2024, 9am - 5pm
• Kalbar School of Arts Hall, 63 Edward Street (cnr Ann St), Kalbar Q 4309
• $30 plus booking fee, for 5 minute time slot and one ( 1 ) photo
Bookings are essential and not transferable.
Professional Photographer:
Scenic Rim based photographer, Cassandra Miller from incmill photography, will be behind the camera again this year.
Professional Santa:
We've hired a professional Santa to ensure you get the best photos.
Extra Photos:
Additional photos may be taken on the day, if time permits, and can be purchased for $10 each after viewing your gallery online.
How many people can fit in a single photo?
The photo setting can accommodate a single family, individuals, or groups of up to 7 children or 5 adults.
Multiple or extended families:
We suggest you book consecutive time slots, allowing one per each family/group. By combining the time slots you'll have plenty of time for those extra photo combinations that you're after. You can book up to three (3) time slots at once.
When and how do I get my photos?
A link to your personal online photo gallery will be emailed to the address provided with your booking approximately one week after the photo shoot.

Parking
Street parking will be available on Ann Street only as Edward Street will be closed for 'Light-Up Kalbar 2024' Christmas event.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes early for the start of your booking time.
Running late?
We’ll try to fit you in but on-time pre-paid bookings will take priority.
Can I get a photo without Santa?
Sure, if that’s your preference.
Props:
Have some fun and bring along your own festive props to create a unique Christmas memory.
Pets:
Sorry our Santa photos are offered for humans only.

Where does the money go?
The Kalbar Progress Association is a registered not-for-profit organisation. The profits from this event will go towards 'Light-Up Kalbar 2024' , a free community Christmas event scheduled for Saturday 7th December 2024. All welcome.
We're lucky to have Scenic Rim based professional photographer, Cassandra Miller behind the camera again this year. Cassie is a professionally trained fine-art photographer skilled in all areas of photography including studio, weddings, corporate and architecture.
This event is hosted by volunteers from the Kalbar Progress Association Inc. All money raised will go towards 'Light Up Kalbar-2024' - a free community event on from 5:30pm on Saturday 7th December, 2024.
