2024 K9 Krawl 5K

Get ready to join us for a pawsome time at the 2024 K9 Krawl 5K. Lace up your sneakers and bring your furry friends for a fun-filled day of running and wagging tails.

The event will take place on Sat. October 12, 2024 at 9:00 AM (check-in begins at 8:30am) in the heart of Fairfax VA, the Fairfax County Public Safety Headquarters. The address is 12099 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035. Parking is located across the street at the Fairfax County Government Center and is just a quick walk over to our fur-flying event!

The K9 Krawl 5K is a unique opportunity for all dog lovers to come together to celebrate National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and bring awareness to the LINK between domestic violence and animal cruelty. Whether you are a seasoned runner or just looking for a leisurely stroll with your pup, this event is for you. Participants will walk together to show solidarity against domestic violence and promote a safe community.

Join us for a captivating demonstration from the highly skilled FCPD K-9 Unit, showcasing their remarkable abilities and dedication to ensuring community safety. This demo will kick off at 8:45am on the steps of the Pubic Safety Headquarters. Don't miss this opportunity to witness the exceptional skills of our furry law enforcement partners in action!

Don't forget to dress up your pup in their most adorable costume - we'll have a Best Dressed Dog Contest with exciting prizes up for grabs! Capture precious moments at our designated photo booth area and create memories that will last a lifetime.

After crossing the finish line, stick around for our exciting raffle. There will be plenty of opportunities to socialize with fellow dog lovers and learn about various pet-related services and products and education booths with information about resources for victims of domestic violence and animal welfare.
