6 – 9 years old – COOKIES
10 - 13 years old – CUPCAKES
14 – 17 years old - LAYER CAKE
CONTEST LOCATION: GATHERING ROOM, Fircrest Community Center
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Registration begins:
Fircrest Residents: June 2nd
Non-Residents: July 3rd

Registration is limited to the first 20 registrants in each age category.
DROP-OFF LOCATION: Fircrest Community Center Gathering Room
FOLLOW THE STAR BALLOONS!
Traffic and parking will be very challenging. Please plan accordingly.
DROP-OFF TIME: 9:00 - 10:00 am
Please have your name on the BOTTOM of your plate / dish. Also include the type and name of your baked good, your name, email and phone number
Entries delivered after 10:00 AM will not be accepted
10:30 am Judging
12:30 pm Award Presentation in the gymnasium
OFFICIAL RULES:
Baked goods must be prepared by the Junior Baker entered in the contest. Items prepared by parents, guardians, siblings, etc. will be disqualified.
Please present the following number of items for the category you are entering:
6-9 years old: 6 cookies from the same batch
10-13 years old: 6 cupcakes from the same batch
14-17 years old: layered cake with a minimum of two stacked layers with either frosting or filling in between layers
Entries in the contest may not contain raw or uncooked eggs
Please place baker's name on the bottom of plate / display dish
Plate / dish must be picked up between 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm on July 20th.
if you are unable to pick up your plates / dishes, please use disposable items. Items will NOT be held after this time.
Prizes will be awarded.
Winners will also be announced at the gymnasium.
Please join us! (Not required)
Winning entries will be displayed in the Gathering Room by the windows for viewing from the outside until Saturday at 2:00 pm
A list of award winners will be posted on the Fircrest FUN DAYS Facebook page
Names of the bakers will be revealed to the judges only after the judging process has concluded
JUDGING CRITERIA:
1) Over-all presentation
2) Texture and consistency
3) Flavor and taste
CANCELLATION POLICY: As space is limited, please let us know immediately if you are not able to participate. We would like to give other kids a chance to fill the open space.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Friday, July 12 at 5:00 pm or until space is filled.
Please include a copy of this registration form or your name, number and email address when submitting the entry on Saturday, July 20.
