Celebrate springtime, eat, drink, and be merry in community at this year's Beltane Ritual! Halfway between spring equinox and summer solstice, festivals of Beltane traditionally celebrate the beginning of summer and the zenith of the light half of the year, days are longer than nights and continue to lengthen. Beltane comes from the Gaelic celebrations of May Day, a time when the people would drive herds of cattle out to pasture at the beginning of summer. It is a time when the veils between worlds are thin, a good time to give offerings of food and drink to the fae, to visit sacred waters, and to cleanse and bless using ceremonial fires. Beltane is a time when we celebrate the abundance of love in the world, in ourselves, and in each other.
Our intention for this ritual is “Embodying Joy”!
As always for our in-person events, we ask that all in attendance are fully vaccinated and boosted.
What to bring:
* A chair or blanket to sit on
* Food to share in the post-ritual potluck picnic- maybe something that makes you feel joyful ?
* Your own plate, utensils, and cup to help us reduce waste
All of our rituals are free of charge. We will have a donation box and cashapp link available for those who wish to support the Cauldron.
