WELLAND – The Welland Jackfish, Niagara's sports entertainment destination, in coordination with the Intercounty Baseball League is excited to announce the schedule for the 2024 IBL All-Star Showdown on Saturday, July 20th at Welland Stadium.The All-Star Showdown will begin at 2:00 pm with the 2024 Home Run Derby presented by Rawlings Canada. Eight of the top hitters in the IBL will take part in a single elimination three round format to crown the home run champion.
Following the Home Run Derby, fans will have the opportunity for a meet and greet with their favourite players and enjoy a live performance on the Newark Party Barge starting at 3:30 pm.
The 2024 IBL All-Star Game will kick off at 6:05 pm at Welland Stadium with a post-game firework super show to commence 20 minutes following the final out. Following the fireworks show, fans will have the opportunity to meet with players on the field for a post-game autograph session.
