The much loved, much talked about Greyhounds Only Reunion — also known as the RAVE (Raffles, Auctions, Vendors, Excitement!) — is back! The Reunion will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, IL. If you haven't attended this event before, we strongly encourage you to bring your greyhound(s) this year!Special note: Although we love all breeds, the Greyhounds Only Reunion is limited to the greyhound breed only. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
The Greyhounds Only Reunion is a unique gathering of greyhounds and their families, vendors selling items from greyhound coats, sweaters, collars, boots, and other attire, to greyhound-themed pottery and lawn ornaments, to dog treats, dog feeders, and dog toys ... plus dozens of raffle baskets and silent auction items all to benefit Greyhounds Only. There will also be adoptable greyhounds, just waiting for the right person to lead them gently into retirement.
The event takes place indoors at the DuPage County Fairgrounds where there is plenty of free parking and room for you to bring your lawn chairs and X-pens to set up your own area for the day. Lunch will be available for purchase, and there will be games to keep you entertained! The ever-popular radar run will also take place outdoors near the entrance.
Please email Miriam at [email protected] with any general inquiries about this event!

Raffle Baskets
Our beautifully designed raffle baskets will be back this year, offering collections of items that you can try to win for a mere $1 (or less) per raffle ticket. There is no telling what you will find in the baskets from year to year! With an emphasis on dog related items, you will also find knick knacks, snacks, wine, sports memorabilia, toys and games, and even fitness equipment. If you have any items to donate for the raffle baskets, please email Miriam at [email protected].
Silent Auction
Higher end donations that we receive will be displayed as silent auction items for the whole day of the event. Here you will find jewelry, artwork, tickets to sporting events, and other larger or high value items. You will be able to bid on each item on its corresponding bid sheet. Better keep your eye on that sheet during the day to make sure you don't get outbid! Healthy competition makes for a thrilling auction! If you have any items to donate for the silent auction, please email Miriam at [email protected].
50/50 Raffle
Look for our roving raffle ticket team selling 50/50 raffle tickets! 50% of the ticket sales goes to the winner and 50% goes to Greyhounds Only. A win- win!!
Resale Booth
Donated "gently used" greyhound items will be available for purchase in our resale booth. Here you will find coats, collars, crates, beds, bowls, and leashes at garage sale prices! If you have any items to donate for the resale booth please email Miriam at [email protected].
Memorial Baskets
Once again, we will be hosting a Memorial Basket Silent Auction. The Memorial Auction is an opportunity for those who have lost their greyhounds or other pets to honor them. If you would like to honor your departed animal you can create a memorial basket containing any items you wish to include. There is no minimum/maximum value and the contents are up to you. You should include a photo of your pet and a story or memory. This is always a popular auction, as so many of us unfortunately know the heartbreak of the loss of a beloved pet. You may bring your basket on the day of the event, but please let us know to expect it. Please email Miriam at [email protected] if you would like to bring a basket.
