Registration is required to participate at https://shorewalkers.org/great-saunter/. Participants get an official numbered bib, route map, Great Saunter cap and commemorative button (while supplies last), along with snacks and water along the route. Finishers receive a photo and a certificate.�Shorewalkers' epic urban hike, the Great Saunter is a 32-mile physical and mental challenge that celebrates individual effort and an ever-changing city. Each year on the first Saturday of May, the Saunter brings 2,500 walkers together to circumnavigate Manhattan, staying as close to the shoreline as possible.�Meet new people from around the world. View seabirds and sailboats. Enjoy the blooming flowers of May. See magnificent bridges and little-known monuments and have an exhilarating experience you’ll never forget!�The event is capped at 2500 participants and last year's event sold out very quickly so if you're interested, don't delay!
