The 2024 Greater New Haven Baseball Umpires Association end of the season banquet has been announced for Monday, August 26th at 6pm at the beautiful Birchwoods at Oak Lane (1027 Racebrook Road, Woodbridge, CT 06525). The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres at 6pm, followed by dinner, dessert, and the awards presentations of the Ed Rapuano Black Jacket and Outstanding Rookie beginning at 7pm. This year’s Ed Rapuano Black Jacket lifetime achievement award will be presented to 50+ year member and Past President and Rules Interpreter Rudy Raffone by Ed Rapuano Jr.For the 2024 banquet, all GNHBUA umpires are free of charge to attend, with additional guests being $55 per person, but all attendees must make reservations. All reservations and guest payments must be received by Treasurer Matt Cerasale ([email protected]) no later than August 12th. Guest payments can be made a multitude of ways:
