The GA Chapter PHTA is hosting a Tech School in the new year! We will offer Certified Maintenance Specialist (CMS) and Certified Service Technician (CST) Courses in Roswell, GA.
The CMS Course is designed for those new to the pool and spa service industry or working a pool maintenance route, this course takes you through the PHTA Service Tech Manual and gives you what you need to conform to industry standards. There are no prerequisites; new and seasonal employees are welcome. Learn key content in the PHTA Service Tech Manual, including safety, pool maintenance, water quality, and pool circulation & filtration.
The CST Course takes you through the PHTA Service Tech Manual and gives you what you need to know to conform to industry standards. You will be able to explain common problems with pool finishes and how to repair them; keep pools running more efficiently with a better understanding of circulation, filtration, hydraulics and electricity; grow your practical knowledge and gain troubleshooting skills and resources; and distinguish yourself as an experienced and knowledgeable service technician. It is recommended that you have at least 1-2 years of experience in pool/spa service and repair to expect to be successful on the certification exam.
