THE 22ND ANNUAL COLLECTION!Firefighters from all five of Newtown's companies will again be accepting donations of Thanksgiving items, nonperishables, cash and gift cards, etc, during Fill The Fire Trucks, an annual pre-Thanksgiving collection for FAITH Food Pantry.
Sandy Hook, Hawleyville and Newtown Hook & Ladder firefighters and friends will be staged outside Big Y World Class Market, 6 Queen Street; and Botsford and Dodgingtown members and friends will be at Sand Hill Plaza, 228 South Main Street.
This is a rain or shine event.
All items received that day will be delivered directly to the food pantry that afternoon.
