The first post in the discussion contains a flyer showing the schedule for the 2024 Tuesday night season. Our plan is to open the season on Tuesday, April 9th with a club race and kick off the first of 2 points series on April 30. Each of the 2 points series will consist of 9 races with a racer's best 7 finishes counting towards the points championship. There are club races scheduled in between the points series and after the second series to allow for rain out dates. Trophied will be awarded to the top 5 in each class which averages at least 5 entries at the end of each of the two points series.
To hopefully speed up the program slightly we made a couple of adjustments. The seeding round will be a timed round (1.5 minutes) instead of a fixed number of laps. Heat races will be 25 laps. A Mains will remain 50 laps with 30 lap lower mains. Taken all together these small changes could shorten the race night on a busy night by 30 minutes or so. This would help get everyone home at a more reasonable hour.
Entry fees remain unchanged.
