To enhance the spiritual journey of fellow disciples participating in Grand Master Lu’s Debut Transmission of “Dorje Drolo” at the 2024 Fall Grand Ceremony, Lotus Light Temple is pleased to announce a special event – the “2024 Fall Chanting and Meditation Tantric Dharma Camp.” This special dharma camp will take place at Lotus Light Monastery in Richmond, BC, Canada, from February 29 to March 2, 2024 (Thursday to Saturday, following the Spring Dharma Assembly).
Dharma Camp Highlights:
- Dorje Drolo Mantra Reciting Class
- Vajrasattva Broom Purification Practice (Presiding Master Vajra Master Lian Tzi will lead the broom purification and blessing for students.)
- Tantric Practice Q&A and Meditation Teaching
- Fire Homa Ceremonies

This holistic blend of spiritual practices and entertainment promises to bring you blessings, wisdom, and the profound experience of Dharma bliss and happiness. Two and a half days of enjoying dharma and friendship with other students, through teachings, delicious meals and practice sessions, whilst enjoying the multitude of sacred objects and shrines at the temples. These include:
- The main temple hall with over 1,000 Golden Mother statues and the second biggest Mahabala statue in True Buddha School
- The shrine of 108 Padmakumara
- The hugely responsive life-size Golden Mother statue who wears clothing made from the finest Asian textiles
- The Heruka hall
- The Ksitigarbha hall
- The Dragon King shrine room
- The Usnisavijaya stupa
- and much more!
Note that Dharma Camp ends with plenty of time for students to return to Seattle for Grandmaster's Saturday group practice. Overseas students would therefore get the most for their cost of the flight to Seattle by attending the Fall Grand Ceremony there, then coming to Vancouver on Wednesday to attend Dharma Camp on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. After lunch in Vancouver one can return to Seattle for group practice with Grandmaster. The Sunday after will be the annual Sheng ji ceremony at Rainbow Temple, followed by a homa by Grandmaster. Maximum dharma activity for your time here!
We welcome True Buddha School Disciples from all over the world to participate this special dharma camp. Accommodation for oversea disciples could be arranged. Please call or email us with your name, gender and contact phone number.
