Time: 10 am to 11:30 am

Location: Science Museum of Minnesota (Main Entrance)

Room: Discovery Hall

Connect and network with parents, early childhood leaders, advocates, agencies, and lawmakers. Let’s gather to honor the gains of this year’s legislative wins and discuss future pathways to improve access to high quality early learning opportunities and foster a strong, equitable future for Minnesota.

Celebrate our historic legislative wins! The sense of urgency we hold for systems change in Early Childhood Education, the state’s monumental surplus and our unifying voices effectively promoted this year that we are #AllinForOurKids has led to a #GreatStartMN! We will honor a few of our legislators and community advocates who were strong Advocacy Champions during the 2024 Legislative Session!

Learn what parents, early childhood leaders and our elected officials have identified as potential advocacy opportunities during the next legislative session in 2025. With a strong focus on equity, and a renewed hope for strong bi-partisan commitment to advancing and supporting high-quality early childhood care and education, we know there is still more work to be done with --and on behalf of our children and families.

Engage in giving feedback, sharing your voice, and advancing public policy in early childhood education. With significant interest from all sides of our government, now is the time to address the importance of early childhood development and opportunities to support families educationally and economically. You will be given the opportunity to sign-up to join the Parent and Provider Advisory Group and/or to participate in an upcoming survey to co-create future public policy agendas.

Additional Details: Light breakfast items will be provided and properly labeled for those who may have dietary restrictions.
