The Día de los Muertos is a celebration of life that originated in central and southern Mexico and dates back 3,000 years. The free festival celebrates this cultural tradition and attract the local community to enjoy local food, music, kids’ activities, shopping from local vendors and much more.The annual Día de los Muertos Festival is hosted by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana at Lafayette Square on Sunday, November 3rd, from 12:00 - 6:00 PM, and features local food, music, kids activities, an ofrenda, shopping from local vendors, costume contest and much more.
