Over the past years, our Dunk Tank for Charity has become a beloved tradition, bringing together union members, volunteers, and local residents. Through this event, we have raised significant funds to support various local charities. Last year alone, with the collective efforts of our unions and dedicated volunteers, we raised close to $5,000. These funds directly benefited the following essential organizations:
1. Easter Seals: Providing vital services to individuals with disabilities.
2. Augusta Levy: Supporting children with hearing loss and speech-language challenges.
3. Shop w/ The Sheriff: Ensuring underprivileged children have a memorable holiday season.
4. The Seeing Hand: Offering vision rehabilitation services to those in need.
5. Adopt a Student: Assisting students with educational expenses.
6. Schiffler Cancer Center: Fighting cancer and providing compassionate care.
7. Shriner’s Children Hospital: Treating pediatric orthopedic conditions.
8. YMCA and YWCA: Promoting health, wellness, and community engagement.
9. Lace up for Kids/United Way: Enhancing the lives of local youth.
10. Road Home Animal Project: Rescuing and caring for animals in distress.
