You've waited two years, but now it's here: the eighth edition of Downtown Throwdown!Come play two 20-hole courses through the streets and around the buildings of Historic Downtown Jasper in one of the most fun events you will experience anywhere!
Open - $77, Ams - $57
- This includes an additional $2 charge per player to help pay for the port-a-johns; the city used to give them to us for free for its sponsorship, but they aren't doing that anymore so we have to pick up the cost this time.
Trophy-only for Ams, trophy and cash payout for Open
Player pack for Ams to include:
- One tournament-stamped DGA disc
- One tournament-stamped Gateway disc
- One tournament t-shirt
- Your choice of a Bryant Bag, pint glass, or mini left over from The Birdie and The Beast (had a lot more Opens and fewer Ams than we anticipated)
- We may add more stuff depending on the sponsorships we get
We do have t-shirt and tee sign sponsorships available! Tee sign for $25 will get one sign on each course. $100 for t-shirt will get two tee signs for each course and a spot on the back of the t-shirt.
We will have two pools, but we'll assign divisions to pools later depending on how signups go in each division.
We will have a raffle during lunch, so save some money for tickets!
- 5 tickets = $5
- 10 tickets = $8
- 20 tickets = $15
- 50 tickets = $30
- 100 tickets = $50
Drop policy: You can drop until 8:00 PM October 24 (Thursday before the event) for a full refund. After that time, you will only receive a full refund if there is a player on the waitlist to take your place. If there is no one to fill your spot, you will receive your player pack. If you no-show and do not notify us, then you will not be entitled to either a refund or your player pack.
Please note: Unlike some past DTTDs, we are making NO promises that we will be able to fetch discs off of rooftops, from enclosed spaces, etc. Treat those areas as you would the deepest, darkest water. If someone turns them in, we'll contact you about getting them back.
