About this Event

DISC members will learn about environmental stewardship at Brandywine Creek State Park and will participate in a hands-on activity removing invasive plants with master naturalist Ed Jones. Come dressed to do outdoor work. Loppers, hand pruners, and work gloves will be provided, but I recommend that anyone who wants to bring their own tools and work gloves do so.

The event will take place at Brandywine Creek State Park on Monday, June 17th from 10 am to 12 pm. Participants will park at the Park Office/Nature Center at 4244 Wilsons Run Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803.

Parking is free; the park will provide parking passes. Participants must get one or they will be subject to ticketing.

Pesticide credits will be available - 2.00 credits for categories 02, 03, 06, and PA. (forest, turf and ornamental, right of way, and private applicator).
