The Anderson (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host our annual December Gala on Friday, December 13th, 2024, from 7: 00 p.m.- Midnight at The Bleckley Station, located at 310 S. Main Street, Anderson, SC 29621. We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you for this special occasion to fellowship with members of our chapter and community!
Who Are We? Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. As a private, not-for-profit organization, the Sorority’s purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Since our founding in 1913, more than 300,000 women have joined our illustrious organization through over 1000 chapters chartered worldwide.
What Do We Do? The Anderson (SC) Alumnae Chapter was chartered on May 19, 1978, by 12 trailblazing women and has proudly served the Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties since its chartering. We recently celebrated 45 years of service and dedication to our community! A few of our signature programs include voter registration drives, human trafficking and domestic violence forums, Jabberwock and May Week scholarship programs, our Saturday Servants Initiative providing food to those in need, legislative forums, and more!
How Can You Support? As we continue our commitment to our community, we are seeking your support through sponsorship and attendance at our annual December Gala.
--Individual tickets for the December Gala are $65.00 and include an evening of food, fun, and fellowship! Individual tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite.
