About this Event
CRAFT Maker at MIC aims to empower children and the public to embrace innovation, enhance creativity and critical thinking skills through exploration, play, STEAM activities as well as design, and build opportunities.
This camp is all about using STRAWBEES to solve engineering challenges. STRAWBEES are light straws, and using them with connectors, you can create prototypes to solve all sorts of design problems. For the child who has a great imagination around designing and building - this is the camp for them!
This free two day camp is aimed at 9 to 10 year old's
The camp will take place in the CRAFT Maker Space in JHN Building on Mary Immaculate College campus on both days Monday 22nd July and Tuesday 23rd July from 9:30am to 2.00pm each day.
This camp is funded by Mary Immaculate College & Irish American Partnership
