This conference is an opportunity to discuss and engage the big questions regarding how nonprofits can understand the current landscape, sustainably generate necessary resources, and ensure impactful work.
For the morning plenary session, Dr. Tyrone McKinley Freeman of the Lily Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University and Nneka Allen of The Empathy Agency will discuss different philanthropic traditions and how they can inform nonprofit work today. For the afternoon plenary panel, Mary Morten of the Morten Group, Michelle Morales of Woods Fund, Cecelia Conrad of the MacArthur Foundation, Sharon Bush of the Grand Victoria Foundation, and Daniel O. Ash of the Field Foundation of Illinois will discuss the status of the philanthropic sector and their hopes for it.
