Join us on 7 August 2014 from 8am to 11am at C.ex Coffs for the 2024 Coffs Coast Safety Network Conference: Mind Matters - Navigating psychosocial risks in the workplace, featuring expert insights and practical workshops on stress management, workplace culture, and psychosocial hazard mitigation.

Our presenters:

Peter Barron - Assistant State Inspector (Psychological Health and Safety), Specialist Services – Health and Safe Design, SafeWork NSW

Peter is an Assistant State Inspector with SafeWork NSW in the Psychosocial specialist team, providing specialist advice to businesses regarding the management of psychosocial hazards such as bullying, violence, work overload, job clarity and exposure to trauma. He has worked across the Mid North Coast for over ten years as an inspector. He has a background in occupational rehabilitation and workplace health and safety. Peter will be providing advice for businesses regarding what sexual harassment is and how to manage the risk of sexual harassment in workplaces.

Jessica Stacey - Senior Educator and Propositions Specialist, icare NSW

Drawing on a dynamic 17 year career, Jessica leads the Education and Propositions team within Injury Prevention. She is on a resolute mission to empower organisations to cultivate high performance cultures through the management of safety and risk, elevating both achievement and wellbeing.

Her coaching and training expertise, academic qualifications, and extensive experience in high-paced public sector and consulting environments equip her with evidence-based tools and strategies to transform work culture, reduce psychosocial and physical risk and optimize team performance.

Tash Alexander - Evidence-based Emotional Freedom Techniques Practitioner. The Tapping Room

Tash Alexander is an accomplished practitioner, coach and lead workshop facilitator, working in the staff wellbeing and culture space. Tash is the director of “The Tapping Room” specialising in burnout, stress management and emotional intelligence, achieving tangible, long-term results using evidence-based Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping).

As a Healthcare Professional for over 25 years, Tash teaches you how to use Tapping to organise and calm the mind, transform your body’s response to stress and reduce burnout.
