The Citizens Police Academy is a free course presented by the Bloomington Police Department. Each Tuesday evening between September 24 and November 19, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, you'll meet members of BPD and learn about a different aspect or specialty of policing. You'll learn about hostage negotiation, police social work, critical incident response, emergency driving, firearms training, defensive tactics, dispatching, criminal investigations, narcotics investigations, police K9s, and more.All citizens 18 years of age or older to welcome to register by completing the online form (https://forms.gle/ByNhRSGK2BFFGUPj9).
