About this Event
The 2024 Changemakers Forum brings together Indigenous leaders, innovators, and allies in clean energy to celebrate, share, and spark impactful change. Join us for a day of dynamic presentations, interactive panels, and networking opportunities with 100–150 attendees, including community leaders, clean energy professionals, and policymakers. This forum serves as a platform for sharing projects, challenges, and future aspirations for sustainable energy solutions in Indigenous communities across Canada.
This event is open to anyone interested in supporting Indigenous-led clean energy initiatives and building relationships to create positive, sustainable change.
The 20/20 Catalysts Program is a nationally recognized initiative that supports Indigenous community leaders in developing clean energy projects, fostering energy independence, and addressing climate change. Catalysts who have participated in the program have launched renewable energy projects, initiated community energy plans, and created energy efficiency solutions tailored to their unique regions. This session is a rare opportunity to learn from their journeys, hear about the challenges they’ve faced, and celebrate their successes.
The Changemakers Forum will feature powerful presentations by current participants of the 20/20 Catalysts Program. These presentations provide a platform for Indigenous leaders to showcase their community energy projects, share personal stories of growth and resilience, and outline their vision for a clean energy future. Attendees will hear firsthand the innovative and transformative work being done to achieve energy sovereignty and sustainability within Indigenous communities across so-called Canada.
The Changemakers Forum is more than just a place to learn—it’s a place to connect. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a new advocate for clean energy, you’ll find spaces to form meaningful connections and explore potential collaborations.
