Welcome to Camp Firelight: A Summer Camp Adventure with God! We’ll hear stories about how Old and New Testament people trusted God in the face of their own fears and went on to do great things in God’s name. The theme verse for Camp Firelight VBS is called the Camp Callout and we and all of the Campers attending VBS will be saying it a lot throughout our time together. It’s Psalm, chapter 56, verse 3. I’ll say it, then you can repeat it with me. Let’s go! “Whenever I’m afraid, I put my trust in you.” Let’s try it together now! And, every session, we’ll also be focusing on a key lesson that we’ll call our Firelight Focus.
