No-Contact, Free, Secure Paper Shredding!Join us for our annual Shred Event on Saturday, July 13th from 8am-11am (or until the trucks are full) in the parking lot behind Jalapeno's (6318 Brookside Plaza - next to the tennis courts). It's a wonderful opportunity to safely dispose of old bills, medical records, receipts, and other sensitive documents. Shredding takes place right on site, so you don't need to worry about documents getting lost in transit.
What to Bring: Paper documents you'd like securely shredded. 2 containers (file boxes or equivalent) per person. Please don't bring stiff metal, plastic bags or items that will jam the shredder, or items that can be recycled like newspapers and magazines.
How it works: Please place your boxes/bags in your trunk or rear seat and remain in your vehicle while dropping off items to be shredded. A volunteer will take the items and place them in a container to be securely shredded on site.
Time:
Shredding starts at 8 am and continues until 11 am UNLESS both trucks fill up prior to 11 am. No need to line up before 8 am, but don't wait until 11 am if you don't want to miss out.
