Boone County OEM will be hosting our annual, community-wide Boone County Ready Festival on Thursday, September 12, 2024, to recognize everyday heroes in the response and preparedness fields while fostering preparedness and building resiliency in our community. This year the family and pet-friendly event will be from 4pm to 8pm at Cosmo Park in Columbia. We will have food trucks, kids’ activities, vendor booths, live music, raffle prizes and emergency kit door prizes for the first 150 households.
