Calling all educators!
The Be GLAD Symposium will offer two tracks:
1) Introductory 2-Day Be GLAD Institute:
Experience the award-winning Project GLAD® (Guided Language Acquisition Design) Model with practical teaching strategies that value the student, provide authentic opportunities for the use of academic language, maintain the highest standards for all students, and foster voice and identity.
2) Advanced Be GLAD Sessions (1 or 2-Day):
These concurrent sessions are intended for previously-trained Be GLAD educators who want to deepen their practice and implementation. A variety of workshops will be offered by a diverse group of presenters over the course of the two days. Session topics include Be GLAD tips and tricks, integration of technology, instructional coaching, SEL, current trends in education, curriculum and planning, and more! Option is available to register for one or both days.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days of the symposium.
