Lawn Bowlers across Eastern Canada will be descending on Dartmouth this September! We're excited to announce that the Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club has been named as the Host Club for the 2024 Atlantic Bowls Championship- taking place from September 5th to 8th. Featuring bowlers from across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Quebec competing in Men’s and Women’s Pairs and Triples play- the event is its 51st edition and is one of the top regional events in the country and a centerpiece of the Fall season. The event returns to Dartmouth for the first time since 2019 when bowlers battled through Hurricane Dorian to complete a very memorable championship with a dominant performance from Team Nova Scotia. The Host Committee looks forward to welcoming all of you to Dartmouth for what should be another exciting edition of the tournament for everyone in our lawn bowls community and a great showcase for the sport to our local community.
Dartmouth will be looking for volunteers to help make the championship another great success. If you’re interested in being a part of the 2024 Atlantic Bowls Championship- contact Host Committee Co-Chairs Debbie Tower and Charmaine Cameron (Or message us via the LBNS Facebook page and we’ll make sure to forward along your message).
