Join us on July 9th for our annual Orphan Barrel Tasting - a unique opportunity to take home an award-winning wine you won't find anywhere else!
What is Orphan Wine?
When members of our winemaking club only want to make a half barrel of wine, we let them! However, in order for the wine to age properly in the barrel we must make a full barrel of wine. The remaining wine in the barrel is the Orphan Wine.
This party is an opportunity to meet our friendly Bacchus Winemaking Club Members and enjoy the fruits of their labor! Barrel taste over10 Orphan Wines looking for a loving home.
Taste premium, award-winning wines and get the chance to bring them home at an extreme discount (1/2 barrel = 12 cases = 144 bottles |starting at $16.49/bottle). If you purchase a 1/2 barrel (starting at $2,375) a maximum of 2 tickets purchased will be refunded per 1/2 barrel.
Tickets include barrel tasting, cheese and salumi, and assorted bite-size apps!
TICKET PRICING:
Bacchus Members: Free | Domenico Wine Club: $30 | General Public: $40
BACCHUS MEMBER FREE TICKET AMOUNTS:
Full Barrel: 4 free tickets | Half Barrel: 2 free tickets.
DOMENICO MEMBER TICKETS:
Two per household.
Two Tickets per 1/2 barrel purchased will be CREDITED towards your wine purchase.
FAQs:
Will we be checking to see if you are an Active Domenico or Bacchus Member?
Yes. If you are NOT an active member we will CANCEL your ticket, and refund any monies LESS the EB fees.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes. Due to the nature of this popular event, all guests must be 21+.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We have a lot with limited parking spaces that are first come, first served. There is another lot available in the business park just north of ours. Signs will be viewable from the street. There is some street parking across the street on Bing St. Carpool and rideshare encouraged.
