The Arabian Horse Breeders Association of Oregon presents a dual clinician event featuring Mary Jane Brown and Savannah McGuire!
General Information
 Open to any breed; participants/riders subject to clinician limitations. (*See below)
 Participants can sign up for a maximum of 1-AM session (9 AM-12 Noon) and 1-PM session (1PM-4PM)
with each clinician. (May not sign up for 2 sessions with the same clinician.)
 Each session is limited to 12 participants/clinician.
 Participants choose order of discipline sessions. Sessions assigned to participants on a first-come, firstserved basis based on availability.
 Clinic fees--$100/session.Includes breakfast snacks and lunch!
Clinicians and Topics
Showmanship clinic presented by Savannah McGuire. How do you prepare a horse to show in showmanship? How do you set up your horse in showmanship? What does a perfect haunch turn look like? How do you get your horse to do one? Owner/operator of Ambition Performance Horses, LLC, since 2004, Savannah has prepared and
shown futurity horses for both APHA and AQHA shows, as well as coached youth and amateur all-around riders, with successes at regional and national levels. She helps her clients set attainable goals, gain knowledge and experience, and have success in the show ring. *Any age can participate.
A little bit about Savannah! Savannah McGuire owns and operates Ambition Performance Horses, LLC. Started in 2004, she has been coaching youth and amateur all around riders as well as preparing and showing futurity horses for the APHA and AQHA shows to success at regional and national level events. Savannah specializes in helping each client set and reach goals that encompass growth as a horseman in addition to show ring success.
Ranch Riding clinic presented by Mary Jane Brown. What makes a horse appropriate for ranch classes? Is your horse suited for showing in ranch classes? How can you show your horse to his/her best advantage in ranch classes? Owner/operator of Diamond B Training Stables and MJB Clinics, Mary Jane also currently is the Judges & Stewards Commissioner for the Arabian Horse Association. She is a well-respected expert on the Working Western
and Horsemanship disciplines, and has trained, exhibited, and judged champion horses nationwide. She uses her straight-forward teaching style to help riders improve their skills and shares her passion for the sport to encourage horse owners to fully enjoy their horses. *Participants must be 11 and over.
A little bit about Mary Jane! Mary Jane Brown owns and operates Diamond B Training Stables, MJB Clinics and is currently serving as the Arabian Horse Association Judges & Stewards Commissioner. She is an
esteemed and nationally acclaimed expert on Working Western sports and Horsemanship. She is an accomplished Champion rider, clinician, trainer and judge. With a lifetime of knowledge to draw from Mary Jane has a passion for helping horse owners be the best that they can be and teaching quality horsemanship to help people enjoy their animals to the fullest. Her straightforward teaching style has helped riders of all levels.
